St Fillans is an attractive village that lies on the North bank of Loch Earn amid the spectacular scenery of Perthshire. Just a five minute walk will take you to the Loch where you can have a picnic, do a spot of fishing or simply take in the breath taking scenery of the Scottish Highlands.
The historic cities of Perth and Stirling are a short drive away, so visiting the famous Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument is a
highly recommended day out. Alternatively an hour by car through beautiful scenery and you can explore the famous cities of Edinburgh or Glasgow. Midsummer Cottage really is ideally located to explore the stunning landscapes that Scotland has to offer.
For golf lovers the local St Fillans Golf club is one of the most spectacular courses in all Scotland and just a short drive away you will find the world famous Gleneagles, home to The Ryder Cup 2014.
